Born in Bangkok, Thailand, designer Panisa Khunprasert studied industrial design at Chulalongkorn University. After moving to New York, she attended the School of Visual Arts, graduating with an MFA in Product Design. Influenced by her childhood growing up in her family’s wooden toy business, she created her own line of wooden home accessories and fashion accessories. Other influences on her work include art, traveling, and nature. While still a student in New York, she started collaborating with MoMA on a range of designs, a partnership that continues to this day. Panisa Khunprasert currently lives in Bangkok, Thailand, where she works as a toy and game designer.
