Architect and designer Naoki Terada was born in 1967 in Osaka, Japan. After completing a bachelor degree in architecture at the Meiji University in Tokyo in 1989, he moved briefly to the UK. While there, he completed his MA at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. In 2003, Naoki Terada founded his own architecture and design firm, Terada Design. The firm’s work includes everything from architecture and interior design to product design, furniture design, home accessories, and graphic design. Major design awards include Good Design Awards and A’ Design Awards. Since 2011, Naoki Terada has been a lecturer at the Musashino Art University. In 2014, he became a member of the Good Design Award jury.
