German designers and long-time collaborators Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth studied Industrial Design at the School of Fine Art, Hamburg and at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin at the same time, between 1990 and 1996. In 1998, they established their own design firm, Adam+Harborth, and began exhibiting their work throughout the world, including at MoMA in New York. In 2003, the duo founded Siebensachen, a design label that specializes in bringing a sense of playfulness to everyday objects. The internationally renowned brand creates products that range from toys and musical boxes to clocks and tableware, collaborating with small craft business and workshop throughout Germany to bring each object to life.
