Henry Huang

Born in Taiwan and raised in Toronto, Henry embarked on a journey in industrial design, culminating in a Bachelor's degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in 1997, where he was honored with the Mimi Vandermolen Design Excellence Award. Since his graduation, Henry has been an integral part of the Umbra team, playing a pivotal role in the creation of many of the brand's iconic products. Drawing inspiration from geometric shapes, his design philosophy emphasizes clean lines and simple forms, bringing a distinct clarity and functionality to each piece. Henry's work continues to shape the landscape of contemporary design, leaving a lasting impact with his minimalist approach.
