Spanish designer Helena Rohner was born in the Canary Islands, a place that heavily influences her work. While initially focused on studying politics, she discovered her love of jewelry design in Florence, Italy. She launched her first designs in Paris to great acclaim. Decades later, Helena Rohner is one of Spain most renowned jewelry designers. Her work draws inspiration from nature and the landscapes of the Canary Islands. Sculptural and elegant, Helena Rohner’s designs feature a wide range of materials, from silver and gold to stone, glass, porcelain, and wood. Apart from jewelry, she also designs lighting, textiles, and home accessories for well-known brands. Helena Rohner has received many awards for her work. In 2015, the King and Queen of Spain presented the designer with the prestigious Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts.
