Erik Bagger

Originally trained as a goldsmith, Erik Bagger (b. 1949) brings a precision and material sensitivity to industrial design that reflects his early roots. After working at Georg Jensen, he founded his own company in 1987, following a trip to the U.S. that opened his eyes to the creative potential of materials like steel, rubber, and plastic. Rather than treat these as cold or utilitarian, Bagger reworked them into pieces with warmth, function, and a sense of wit. His designs are known for their balance—where durability and clarity meet refined detail.
