Elda Bellone was born in Italy and currently lives and works in New York. From a young age, she has been immersed in deeply creative environments. After studying art in Teramo, Italy, she continued her studies at the prestigious University of Architecture in Florence. Apart from her work as an architect and industrial designer, Elda Bellone has always been involved in studying, exploring, and developing ways of creating in the area of ‘open design’ with an innovative approach to both function and form. She also favors different art languages, looking for the interchanges and contamination between different concepts to extend and enrich the idea of making an object, beyond the conventional definition of design. Elda Bellone’s award-winning work has been exhibited in both the US and worldwide, including at the Venice Biennale.
