Diana Mot and Isabella Bergstrøm are part of a new generation shaping Danish furniture design with a fresh but respectful hand. Both graduated from VIA Design in Herning in 2016, and started collaborating during their studies—most notably creating a multifunctional bench that won attention at the FSC Design Award. The piece, combining seating, storage, and table functions in a simple, well-balanced form, caught the eye of FDB Møbler, who put it into production and continued the partnership. Their work carries forward the Danish design tradition of clarity and craftsmanship, but it also responds to today’s needs: flexibility, practicality, and pieces that fit easily into a fast-moving life. Mot and Bergstrøm design furniture that feels rooted, but not stuck—thoughtful updates on what furniture can be.
