Daria Zinovatnaya is an industrial designer known for her bold use of color and geometric compositions. Born in Simferopol, Ukraine, in 1992, she studied architecture and earned a master’s degree before establishing her own studio in Saint Petersburg in 2017. Her work explores the intersection of form, color, and function, drawing influence from Suprematism and modernist design principles. In 2017, she received a Red Dot Award for the Cherokee collection, a series of carpets that reimagine color planes in dynamic, unexpected ways. Her designs span furniture, interiors, and product design, always emphasizing striking palettes and a strong visual identity.
