Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish design and architecture studio founded by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune in 1995. The three founders met while studying at the University College of Arts in Stockholm. While Claesson Koivisto Rune first started as an architectural firm, over the years it transformed into a multi-disciplinary office. The studio completes a wide range of projects, from architecture to lighting, furniture, and textile design. In 2004, Claesson Koivisto Rune became the first Swedish architectural office to exhibit in the international section of the Venice Biennale. The studio’s work has received many prestigious awards, including the German Design Award, IF Product Design Award, and the Red Dot Design Award – Best of the Best 2014.
