Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta (Belgium, 1961) is an industrial designer and architect. Graduated of Architecture from the Universidad Anáhuac (1986), he obtained also a MA from Columbia University. He was a founding member and Joint Director of TEN Arquitectos, from 1987 to 2003, until he founded BGP Architecture. His works include the National Theater School, the Televisa service building, an Habita Hotel, Torre Barcelona and the Ave Fénix Firemen’s Station. In addition to the Mies van der Rohe Prize (1998) and the title as Knight of the French Legion of Honor (2008), he and his work has been recognized with over 60 national and international awards.
