Beaverhausen

Brussels-based studio Beaverhausen was founded by Mimy A. Diar and Ad Luijten, both former art directors with a background in communication and branding. That experience still runs through their design work, which often begins with a story—sometimes contextual, sometimes poetic—and unfolds through form, material, and function. Since shifting their focus from advertising to design, the duo has brought that same clarity and narrative instinct to furniture, lighting, and interiors. Their Praline series, for example, draws on the bold geometry of filled Belgian chocolates, translated into sculptural poufs and benches with a distinct presence. Every project reflects a thoughtful balance between concept and use—design that knows what it wants to say, and how to say it with subtlety.
