Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Beatriz Lamanna grew up in Rio de Janeiro where she later completed her studies in Visual Communication at PUC-Rio. The designer then worked with different studios, developing projects for well-known brands like Nokia and Avon. After spending a year in Madrid, Spain and getting her Master’s Degree in Textile and Surfaces Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED),  Beatriz Lamanna opened her own design studio in Rio de Janeiro. As a freelancer, she works in a wide range of creative fields, from branding and graphic design to illustration and stamping. Notable collaborations include tableware collections created for iconic Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre.
