Andreas Engesvik is a prominent Norwegian designer who has contributed to the resurgence of Scandinavian design on an international stage. After receiving a degree in art history from the University of Bergen, he completed an MA in design at the National College of Art and Design. Andreas Engesvik co-founded the Norway Says studio in 2000. In 2010, he established his own studio, Andreas Engesvik Oslo. The studio’s portfolio includes furniture, home accessories, and tableware as well as industrial design. Through this design firm, the designer collaborates with a wide range of well-known brands, including Iittala, Muuto, Fram Oslo, Asplund, and Fogia, among others. The designer’s work has received many awards and distinctions. These include the iF Product Design Award, Elle Decoration Awards (Norway and Sweden), and Red Dot Design Awards.
