Designed and made by Danish brand Ferm Living, Kona celebrates the elegant minimalism of both Japanese and Scandinavian design. The series comprises seating, tables and a bed, all of them created with clean, geometric forms and low profiles. For example, the tables stand closer to the floor, to allow you to use them while lounging on cushions or a traditional tatami mat.
The Kona collection also highlights the function-based design of Japanese furniture. The Kona daybed features a modular backrest and space for the Kona Side Table that can easily hold a lamp, a book, and a glass. As for the Kona Bench, it features open shelving to serve equally well in an entryway or in bedroom. Crafted responsibly from FSC-certified oak veneer with an MDF core, the Kona furniture collection comes in two finishes: Natural Oak and Dark Stained Oak.
