Like its name suggests, the Colander collection draws inspiration from the ubiquitous kitchen utensil to bring a creative accent into your home. French designer Patrick Norguet used the perforations of a colander to design the stylish furniture collection for Italian brand Kristalia. The first designs in the series, the injection-molded polypropylene chair and stool, feature a perforated weave backrest that adds a wonderfully tactile feel to the design. Ergonomic seats enhance comfort. Later additions to the series include upholstered or curved wood backrests and seats, but with the same frame that blends angular and curved lines. These chairs and stools are conveniently stackable and they also suit outdoor areas.
