The clock face boasts the same elegant simplicity of the original Carved wall clock, including the carved-out numerals and simple our and minute hands. At the 12 o’clock mark, a pink cuckoo has made its nest inside one carved numeral, popping out every hour to tell the time. Made of a mineral-based artificial wood and plywood, this modern cuckoo wall clock also comes with a two-step volume control system with a light sensor. Naoki Terada

Architect and designer Naoki Terada was born in 1967 in Osaka, Japan. After completing a bachelor degree in architecture at the Meiji University in Tokyo in 1989, he moved briefly to the UK.
