Solari

Solari is an iconic Italian brand established in 1725 in Pesariis, a small mountain town in the region of Carnia, Italy. The company originally manufactured tower clocks and wall clocks until 1948, when brothers Remigio and Fermo Solari relocated to Udine and founded a new brand, Solari. Since then, the company has become a leader in the production of timepieces, clock terminals and public information display systems for train stations and airports. In 1956, the Solari Cifra 5 clock created by Gino Valle won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award. In 1998, Solari acquired the historic Fratelli Solari company, reuniting the family. Entirely made in Italy, the company’s products embody the best of Italian design and innovation. Cifra 3 has been included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the London Science Museum.
