Coltelleria Saladini is located in Scarperia e San Piero, Tuscany, a small medieval town that has a long history of crafting cutting tools, dating back to the year it was founded in 1306. The first record of the master knife makers of the Saladini family appears in the mid-18th century. In 1984, Leonardo Saladini embarked upon his own journey of honing the craft, opening an artisan shop in 1997 on the historic road of Via Solferino. Friend Giacomo Cecchi joined the company in 2002, taking the design of the knives to another level of creativity. The brand makes each knife and kitchen accessory by hand, using a breadth of experience as well as the latest technology.
