Pappelina was founded by Lina Rickardsson, a passionate weaver and artist who started creating her own rugs in the late 1990s. The name of the brand is a wordplay on the worlds “paper”, “linen” and the name Lina. Based in Sweden, the company produces high-quality rugs and home accessories from organic materials and phthalate free, non-toxic PVC through an innovative jacquard weaving technique. The Pappelina collection comprises indoor/outdoor rugs as well as home and kitchen accessories such as towels, blankets, table runners, cushions, and trays. Handmade locally, the products have a lower carbon footprint and are crafted to last. Today, the Pappelina collection is available in more than 45 countries around the world.
