Papergem is a sustainable paper-goods studio founded in 2020 by designer Simona Bunardzhieva. The line covers the everyday tools of gifting and correspondence—greeting cards, wrapping and tissue papers, stickers, washi tape, and cotton twine. A strict zero-plastic policy applies to both products and packaging, and materials are chosen to be recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable. The look is graphic and easy to mix; formats are sized for real use. Sheets fold without cracking, cards take ink cleanly, and tapes tear by hand. Collections are released in small, manageable batches to keep waste low and quality high. For Gessato, Papergem brings a straightforward proposition: paper goods that do their job, look good on the table, and can go back into the cycle when you’re done.
