Founded by David Berti in 1895, Coltellerie Berti is a family knife-making business now run by the grandson Andrea. The workshop is based in Tuscany, north of Florence, Italy, where the individual knives are handmade from beginning until end and signed by the craftsman. Meant to be passed down as heirlooms, the durable, beautiful designs feature stainless and carbon steel blades and handles crafted from materials such as ox horn, bosso wood, and lucite.
