For Block Design, it’s all about color and pushing the boundaries of what contemporary design can look like. With a background in applied arts and engineering, the founder Tara Ashe created the first products for the brand, which lead to pinpointing the Block Design aesthetic. Minimalism, vibrant colors, cutting edge design, and a sense of playfulness combine in functional products that are elegant and have a distinct style. Opened in 2000, the studio now employs several designers who are all passionate about creating innovative products that bring color and fashionable accents to the world of contemporary product design.
