Richard Sapper, its visionary designer, aimed for a multisensory experience. Crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel, the kettle showcases a fluid, undulating handle made of black polyamide, adding a touch of sophistication. Beyond its visual appeal, the kettle’s acoustic feature sets it apart: two brass whistles produce a pleasing melody when water boils, providing an auditory delight rather than a simple alert. For user convenience, the whistle can be easily removed from the spout using the mechanism beneath the handle.
