Originally made in 1951 for industrial workshops, this lamp is a classic of Danish design. Designer A. Wedel-Madsen created the pendant light with a blend of angular and rounded forms. The wide opening of the shade maximizes brightness, illuminating workspaces, public areas, and homes. While it originally featured a heavy iron build, the Made by Hand Workshop W5 Pendant Lamp now comes with a lightweight spun aluminum or copper shade with a durable finish. A removable diffuser softens the light and minimizes glare at the same time. Keeping true to the brand’s dedication to Danish craft traditions, the Workshop lamp series is handmade by experienced craftspeople. This pendant lamp comes with a fabric-covered cord and suits indoor use only. The largest of the series, the Workshop W5 lamp is available in different colors.
