Description
The Duality collection by Vista Alegre is an unique series inspired by the 19th century drawings of the Vista Alegre museum collection, with floral motifs on geometric background patterns. Duality as per the word itself, talks about the opposites like reason and emotion, sobriety and excess… This kind of dichotomy is translated into the collection with a different decor on the sides of the plates, mugs, bowls, the back side is often highly decorated leaving the front side sometimes without any kind of decor except a light geometric pattern that create a contrast to the colorful floral decor of the back.
