Description

For the 12 Designs for Nature project, Finnish brand Nikari invited twelve designers to create furniture that offers a fresh take on the brand’s design philosophy. Nao Tamura’s July Stool-Table pays homage to Nikari’s love of Finnish craftsmanship and nature. Inspired by log piles in a forest, the stool features round shapes and organic textures. The seat brings together three circular forms, with three rounded legs providing optimal support while keeping the design minimal and clean. Thanks to the organic look of the July Stool, the user can easily combine several in a cluster or use one stool on its own as a focal point in a room. Alternatively, the July Stool is also suitable to use as a table. Made of oak and elm, this stool also comes with a natural oil finish.
