Designed with sustainability in mind, the Skid knife features an ingenious wood to metal ratio that revolutionizes the traditional kitchen tool. The collection is made by German brand Lignum, a product design studio passionate about traditional craftsmanship and innovation. As a result, the knives blend minimalist design with artisanal skill and feature an ingenious use of materials. The first design in the collection, Skid Robinia is made of 97% robinia wood and 3% fine carbon steel. The blade’s hardness reaches 61 HRC, while the wood section boasts a 100% natural linseed oil finish. Extra sharp, extremely durable and naturally antibacterial, the handcrafted knives take cooking to another level. Knives with darker woods and hand-folded Damascus blades are also available in our shop.
