Description
The Filo LED Floor Lamp is a decorative floor lamp by Foscarini, designed by Andrea Anastasio in 2017. Rather than hiding the working parts of a lamp, Filo puts them on display: the textile cable, porcelain cone, hand-blown glass elements, metal base, and rod all become part of the composition.
The lamp gives semi-diffused light with a direct downward beam, making it useful beside a lounge chair, in a bedroom corner, near a sofa, or anywhere a room needs a sculptural floor lamp with usable light. The porcelain cone holds a G9 LED retrofit bulb, while the black on/off switch is located on the cord.
Filo’s strongest detail is the decorative cable. It loops around the top of the lamp and carries the glass elements like beads on a line. The two hand-blown glass pieces are made without a mold, so their shapes and decoration come from the glassmaking process itself. The result is precise enough for a refined interior but visually looser than a conventional shaded floor lamp.
This listing includes the Eastern Coral and Teodora variations. The difference is not only the cable color; each version also has its own mix of base color, cable treatment, and glass elements. Choose Eastern Coral for the warmer red-and-coral version, or Teodora for a softer, more muted color composition.
For the US version, the bulb is not included. Use a G9 LED retrofit bulb, 4W max. The lamp is for dry indoor locations only and is not intended for bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, or damp spaces.
