Description
Rif is a wool rug composed of overlapping rectangular fields, each with its own texture and depth of color. The surface shifts from section to section, moving between smoother areas and more clouded, uneven finishes that catch light differently across the rug.
The blocks sit slightly offset rather than centered, so the composition feels layered instead of framed. Some areas appear denser and more compact, others softer and more open. The changes happen gradually, and you notice them more as you move around the room than all at once.
Underfoot, the rug feels consistent and comfortable. The variations live mostly on the surface, not in thickness. From a distance, Rif reads calm and structured. Up close, the subtle contrasts between textures and tones become clearer.
Rif works well in living rooms and bedrooms where furniture overlaps the rug and the floor stays visible. It anchors a space without fixing it in place and pairs easily with both lighter and darker furnishings.

Gessato Design Store proudly offers Standard Delivery.
Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
