Description
Earth Wall Clock Less is the pared-back companion to Takenobu Igarashi’s Earth Wall Clock. It comes from the same line that began with his 1987 Ball Clock for OUN and was revisited as the Earth Clock in 2019, then brought into a wall format in 2025. This version drops the black frame and leans into a lighter, more “floating” look on the wall.
The dial stays open, with fine minute marks around the edge and a small set of numerals that don’t try to dominate the face. The hands read like thin moving lines rather than hardware, so the clock feels calm even when you’re looking at it often. Earth Wall Clock Less works especially well on white or pale walls, in rooms where you want time visible but you don’t want a strong outline—bedrooms, hallways, and quieter corners of a living space.
