Description
A 40-inch sweep of folded, micro-perforated paper turns twin LED bars into a soft up-and-down glow that never glares.
Felicia Arvid designed Pli for Foscarini as a riff on couture pleats, wrapping a slim aluminum spine in Italian paper that drapes like fabric yet holds an architectural edge.
Look closely: each scallop catches light along its curve, while tiny perforations let a warm sheen seep through the shade itself. The result feels weightless overhead but fills a dining table, island, or long desk with even illumination. Phase-cut and 0-10 V dimming shift the mood from task-bright to dinner-low, and near-invisible suspension cables keep the fixture floating in space.
Hang one Pli to anchor a breakfast nook, run two in a row above a conference table, or let it hover in a gallery corridor—the airy profile and textile-like texture soften modern rooms while delivering energy-efficient performance night after night.
