The Grapy Outdoor Soft Seat redefines lounging with its laid-back comfort and durable, weather-resistant design. Inspired by the image of a farmer resting on jute bags, designer Kensaku Oshiro crafted this ground-level seat to provide exceptional ergonomics and a relaxed feel. Now available in outdoor-ready fabrics, including Marquetry by Sunbrella and Meltemi Texture by Jover Decó, it offers resilience against the elements while maintaining its signature softness. The water-repellent polyester upholstery prevents moisture absorption, resists stains, and is fully removable for easy cleaning. Filled with a mix of polystyrene and foam rubber, the seat gently molds to the body for superior comfort. Available in yellow, orange, and blue gingham, as well as geometric-patterned Decó outdoor models, Grapy seamlessly blends casual seating with functional outdoor design.

Kensaku Oshiro

Born in 1977 in Okinawa, Japan, Kensaku Oshiro moved to Italy to study design. In 1999, he graduated with a Master’s degree in industrial design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.
