Sori Yanagi (1915-2011) was a renowned Japanese industrial designer and pioneer of Japan’s post WWII modern design movement. The son of Soetsu Yanagi, who founded the Japanese folk crafts mingei movement and the Japanese Folk Crafts Museum, Sori Yanagi went on to study art and architecture.
