Description
The Fenestra Bookends, designed by Eugenia Ramos Alonso for MoMA’s collaboration with the MFA Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts, are both practical and stylish. Made of durable steel, this set includes four bookends in different heights: blue (6.25 inches), green (7.5 inches), yellow (7.5 inches), and red (10 inches). Each piece can be used individually or stacked together to form a cohesive unit resembling a window with a landscape view, as suggested by the name “Fenestra,” Latin for “window.” The design is compact, making it suitable for organizing books on shelves, desks, or mantelpieces without consuming excessive space. The vivid colors and simple geometric shapes allow these bookends to complement various decor styles, adding a functional yet decorative touch to any room.
