Cloud Castle Hanging Bird Feeder

Davide Carbone — Fri, 16 Oct 2026 13:55:33 +0000

Arched openings and a notched rim give the Cloud Castle Hanging Bird Feeder the shape of a small castle tower. Frederik Roijé, the designer behind the namesake furniture, lighting, and accessories studio, organizes its feeding spaces across three levels. The openings face different directions, giving birds access from several sides and changing the view of the tower as you move around it.
Made in the Netherlands from Corten steel, the feeder is designed to hang outdoors. Its narrow cylindrical body provides feeding platforms and partial shelter without occupying ground space, making it a useful alternative to a freestanding feeder in a garden or beside a terrace.
The steel develops a protective rust-brown patina through exposure to the weather. It arrives unweathered, so the surface will initially look different from the rusted finish shown in the photographs.

Font Flip Clock

Davide Carbone — Thu, 15 Oct 2026 18:01:02 +0000

Most clocks use one style of lettering. Font uses twelve. Designed in 2007 by Sebastian Wrong, a British designer and co-founder of furniture and lighting brand Established & Sons, it mixes script, serif, and sans-serif characters across a working flip display. As the cards turn, the combinations change, giving you something different to notice throughout the day.
White numerals and lettering stand out against black cards behind a clear acrylic cover, with a white ABS plastic housing surrounding the mechanism. Battery power lets you position the clock without routing a cord to an outlet.

Size determines what the clock shows as well as where it goes. The Small displays hours and minutes and includes a freestanding base for a desk or bookshelf; it can also be wall-mounted. The Medium adds the weekday, date, and month in a horizontal wall-mounted format. The Large arranges the same information vertically, with a full-width weekday display that gives the lettering more room. All three use 24-hour time. The mechanism makes an audible click as the cards change, so this is not a silent clock. Batteries are not included.

Alfra Stovetop Espresso Maker – 3 Cup

Davide Carbone — Wed, 14 Oct 2026 19:23:23 +0000

A broad circular base and straight-sided upper chamber give the Alfra stovetop espresso maker its distinctive profile. The angular handle contrasts with the cylindrical body, while a flat hinged lid and small pouring spout complete the shape. Brushed steel keeps the finish consistent across these different parts, with fine surface lines visible up close.
Alfra is designed by the in-house Technical Department of Alessi, the Italian housewares company founded in 1921. Made in Italy from 18/10 stainless steel, it puts the company’s metalworking experience into a compact coffee maker that can come to the table on a trivet for serving.
The three-cup size suits a morning coffee or a few small after-dinner servings. Its stated capacity is 5.1 fl oz, or 150 ml: “three cups” refers to espresso-size portions, not three full-size coffee mugs.

Habity Bedside Alarm Clock

Davide Carbone — Fri, 09 Oct 2026 15:09:29 +0000

Habity makes it possible to leave your phone outside the bedroom while keeping an alarm, sleep sounds, and a way to check the time close at hand. Designed by Peter Arvad, founder of the Copenhagen-based brand, this bedside alarm clock combines a softly speckled off-white body with a tilted display, a large side wheel, and separate stop and snooze buttons.

The 3.7-inch e-paper screen is not continuously lit. A warm frontlight switches on when you use the controls, letting you read the time in the dark. Set one wake-up alarm per day, choose the sound and volume, and let the built-in light brighten gradually before it rings. A custom weekly schedule allows different wake-up times for different days.

For evenings, Habity offers a wind-down reminder, a nightlight, and timed soundscapes such as rain, ocean waves, and a crackling campfire. These everyday functions work offline, with no app or subscription required. Optional Wi-Fi adds automatic time setting and connections to supported smart-home systems.

The clock includes a rechargeable battery and a 6.56-foot USB-C cable. Habity recommends keeping it connected to power for everyday use. A wall adapter is not included; the manufacturer recommends a 20W model.

Panda Wooden Figurine

Davide Carbone — Wed, 07 Oct 2026 09:53:39 +0000

The architects behind Copenhagen Zoo’s Panda House also designed a panda for the bookshelf. Created in 2019 by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, the studio founded by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, this wooden figure is produced by ARCHITECTMADE, a Danish company specializing in objects by architects and designers.

Walnut and maple give Panda its contrasting dark and light coloring, with small leather ears and visible grain across the rounded head and belly. Its upper body rotates independently of the lower half, while the arms and legs move to change its posture. Raise an arm, bring the feet forward, or turn the body to give it a different pose.
Choose the 3.94-inch Small for a desk or bedside table, or the 5.91-inch Large for a more prominent place on an open shelf. The two sizes also work together, creating a display that you can rearrange over time. Each panda is sold individually.

Bubo Wooden Owl

Davide Carbone — Tue, 06 Oct 2026 17:51:25 +0000

A slight turn of the head changes Bubo’s expression. This handmade oak owl has a round, movable head and detachable wings held in place by magnets, allowing you to adjust its gaze and posture. Dark eyes, a pointed beak, and upright ear details stand out against the lighter body, with the wood grain visible across its curved surfaces. Place it beside a stack of books, angle its head toward the room, or raise a wing to give it a different pose.

Danish woodworker Nikolaj Klitgaard made the first Bubo in his grandfather’s workshop in 2013. Produced by ARCHITECTMADE, a Danish company specializing in objects by architects and designers, it brings that interest in woodworking to a small figure for a desk, bookshelf, or bedside table.
Choose Small at 4.92 inches high or Large at 5.59 inches high. Display one on its own or bring the two sizes together, each with a different expression. Each owl is sold individually.

Arne S Domus LED Pendant Light

Davide Carbone — Mon, 05 Oct 2026 18:34:40 +0000

A tall cylinder above a shallow circular shade gives the Arne S Domus LED pendant light its industrial profile. Designed in 2018 by the in-house team at Santa & Cole, the Barcelona-based lighting and furniture company, it adapts the form of an urban spotlight for domestic interiors. The matte die-cast aluminum body measures just over nine inches across, making it easy to use individually above a table or in a row along a kitchen island.

The light falls downward through an opaline diffuser, with a tempered glass cover protecting the optics. Its integrated LED delivers 2,471 lumens of warm 2700K light, providing substantial illumination for the surface below. Choose White Gray, Aluminum Gray, or Dark Green, with a matching canopy in each finish.

The US model is damp-location rated, making it a choice for interiors and sheltered outdoor spaces protected from direct rain. Suspension height is adjustable during installation, and the driver and ceiling canopy are included. Professional hardwired installation requires a junction box; dimming requires a compatible external 1–10V control. Neither is included. The integrated LED light source is non-replaceable

Estadio Singular LED Wall Sconce

Davide Carbone — Tue, 29 Sep 2026 18:16:34 +0000

Estadio Singular brings the texture of ribbed glass to an indoor-outdoor LED wall sconce. Spanish designer Miguel Milá created it for Santa & Cole, the Barcelona-based lighting and furniture company, using a single glass block held by a die-cast aluminum body. It takes the glass element used in the Estadio collection’s larger fixtures and gives it a compact, vertical format.

At 13 inches high, the sconce works beside an entrance, along a hallway, or repeated around a terrace. Its integrated LED produces warm 2700K light, with a 204-lumen output best used for accent and ambient lighting rather than as a room’s only light source. Textured Black outlines the illuminated glass, while Textured White offers a closer match to pale walls. Both finishes are suitable for wet locations.

The US version is hardwired and includes a rectangular wall backplate. Dimming requires a compatible external 1–10V dimmer, sold separately, and the installation requires a junction box, also not included. The light source is an integrated, non-replaceable LED rather than a screw-in bulb.

Jack Paperweights

Davide Carbone — Tue, 29 Sep 2026 14:35:56 +0000

The Tom Dixon Jack paperweight set pairs rounded, branching forms with the weight of marble and onyx. British designer Tom Dixon adapted the shape from his Jack light, creating a smaller, solid-stone object that holds loose papers in place and works as a sculpture on a desk or shelf.

Each piece is hand-carved in Agra, India, and polished to bring out the stone’s veining. This four-piece set includes one paperweight in Forest Green marble, one in golden-brown Forest Brown marble, one in deep red Flamingo marble, and one in Pink Indian onyx. The contrasting stones make it easy to distinguish the pieces, whether arranged together or used in different parts of a room.

Place a Jack on loose notes or an open book, display the four side by side, or stack them in different combinations. Natural variations in color and veining mean each set will differ from the photographs. A useful gift for a design enthusiast, particularly one who still prefers putting pen to paper.

Boulder Marble Bookends – Set of 2

Davide Carbone — Tue, 29 Sep 2026 13:29:10 +0000

Boulder marble bookends give a row of books a clear beginning and end. Designed by Tom Dixon for his London-based furniture, lighting, and accessories brand, the pair combines deep red Flamingo marble with golden-brown Forest Brown marble. Each piece has a curved outer profile and a flat face that rests against the books, letting the stone’s weight do the holding.

Made by stonemasons in Agra, India, the bookends are hand-turned from solid marble and finished matte. Place them at either end of a selection of hardbacks on an open shelf, or use them to organize reference books on a desk. The contrasting colors distinguish the pair, while the veining gives each bookend its own pattern.

The set includes one bookend in each marble. Natural variations in tone and veining mean the pieces you receive will differ from the photographs. Pair them with a favorite book for a housewarming gift.
