This is a wall clock with a clear black and white design, like a piano keyboard.
The frame is made from aluminum casting, using a specialist technique, and is produced in a casting production center in Takaoka city, Toyama prefecture. It gives off a luster like a mirror, with each one carefully polished by a craftsman.

A minimalist twist on the traditional cuckoo clock. Designer Yuichi Nara created this playful timepiece with a simple house silhouette and refined details. Made of plywood, the Lemnos Birdhouse Clock features a natural or a white finish. Metal hands add an industrial accent to the dial, while the understated font gives more clarity to the hour markers. At the top, a cuckoo peeks out from a circular window. This clock tells the time accompanied by the sounds of a brook, but the automatic light sensor ensures that it will remain silent during the night. The two-step volume control offers a convenient solution to adjust the sounds of the Lemnos Birdhouse Clock.

Inspired by a tree’s age rings, the Miki Urushi clock features a solid wood case that refines the beauty of the natural material. Designed by Yuichi Nara, this Lemnos clock is simple and elegant. Made of zelkova wood, the clock features a lacquer finish. As it is completed using the traditional Japanese “mehajiki” technique, the lacquer coating has a lustrous surface. However, the paint finish still allows the beauty of the wood grain to shine through. This clock has a sweep second hand and a black and white palette for the dial that enhances readability. Use the Miki Urushi as a wall clock or as a table clock. Stand included. The natural oil finish version of this design is also available, along with other clocks from the Lemnos collection.
