Think palm-sized wall clock, cut from a single ring of oak, the grain running in a quiet circle around a clear, workmanlike dial. Yota Kakuda keeps the layout straightforward—thick sans-serif numbers, tall minute marks, no extra lines—so the hour is readable at a glance whether the clock sits on a shelf or hangs above eye level.

A sweep-second movement moves without ticks; you hear pages turn, not the passing seconds. Slip the little oak wedge into the slot and the piece stands on its own, easy to shift when you reorganize the desk. Pop the wedge out and one screw secures the back plate flush to the wall. Two dial styles (and a no-number version if you like a cleaner look) share the same 5 ¾-inch frame and matte glass lens. Battery’s in the box; the sense of calm the clock brings is up to you.

Simple, clear, and efficient, but also stylish and versatile. This Yota Kakuda clock design covers all the bases. Made by Japanese brand Lemnos, the Numbers Clock maximizes readability in a contemporary design that looks fantastic anywhere. The dial features large, bold numbers as well as wide hour and minute hands. As a result, you’ll be able to tell the time at a glance, even from one end of a larger room. Line markers and a sweep second hand complete the design. This wall clock features an ABS resin case with a white or a gray finish, and a glass window. A natural brown plywood version of the Numbers clock is also available, along with other designs from the Lemnos collection.

Designed with clarity in mind, the Numbers clock from the Lemnos collection features extra-large numbers and hands. The simple design puts an emphasis on readability with a bold font, wide hands, and strong color contrasts. Designer Yota Kakuda used the Lemnos tambourine frame for the clock, giving the timepiece an elegant, clean look. The dial boasts larger numbers and line markers along with black hour and minute hands. A sweep second hand moves in a fluid motion, indicating the seconds in complete silence. This wall clock is made from plywood that features a natural color and features a glass window. An ABS resin version of the design is also available.
