Born in 1985 in Mendrisio, Switzerland, Simone Viola studied industrial design in Milan. After his graduation, he started working with both Italian and international architecture and design studios. He founded his own studio in Switzerland in 2011. Focusing on industrial design and interior design, Simone Viola has completed projects for clients like TOOU and Klodea, among others. They range from furniture and multi-functional home accessories to a series of handle designs that transform minimalist cabinets and drawers into decorative objects. Apart from leading the creative phase, the designer also oversees every step in the production process. A combination of clean lines, organic forms, and artisan craftsmanship, the studio’s work beautifies living spaces and gives them a distinctive character.
