Can a dining table look solid and feel light? Yes — Kimono balances a generous oak top on legs that sweep inward like a folded sleeve. Norwegian designer Magnus Pettersen pared the form down to a few purposeful parts, taking cues from Japanese joinery. A single stretcher runs straight through the legs, its ends revealed like wooden dowels to show exactly how the frame is held together. The inner curves soften the sturdy silhouette, while tiny brass-plated pins give the joints a subtle glint. A white-pigmented finish keeps the oak grain visible and shrugs off everyday spills.

Stretching over seven feet, the surface handles family dinners, weekend projects, or a full spread of reference books. Generous overhang leaves room for benches or stackable chairs, and the open base keeps foot space clear. From loft dining rooms to studio workspaces, Kimono lets the character of solid wood take center stage and stands ready for decades of daily use.

Soft to the eye and equally inviting to sit on, the Praline Pouf takes its name from a familiar source of comfort: the round, filled chocolates it’s modeled after. Designed by Brussels-based studio Beaverhausen, this pouf has a subtly tapered profile and circular top that’s lightly padded and stitched for definition. Whether placed solo or clustered in multiples, each size works as a low seat, an impromptu footrest, or even a perch for a tray.

Upholstered in Alpine 01, a creamy bouclé from Textaafoam, the Praline Pouf adds a tactile layer to interiors without shouting for attention. It’s plush but tailored, soft but structured—an object that quietly holds its own in any space, from bedroom corners to living room layouts. From a wall-mounted decorative object to a hand-held makeup mirror, the Woud Barb mirror serves multiple purpose with elegance. The design is the brainchild of Austrian designer and architect Martin Zanolin, who creates minimalist designs that focus on function and materiality. This mirror is a perfect example.
