Founded in Brooklyn by a creative couple, Wary Meyers started out as a small interior design firm. Originally, the two founders used the studio to design the interiors of their friends’ homes and artistically-minded clients. A book and a column for Time Out New York magazine followed, along with a move to Portland, Maine. While continuing to expand their interior design portfolio, the founders also created a line of scented candles and soaps under the Wary Meyers name. The soaps feature a 100% pure vegetable base and natural ingredients, without any parabens, phthalates, or alcohol. Vibrant designs inspired by Italian icon Ettore Sottsass make Wary Meyers products look more like decorative objects, while their creative scent combinations stimulate the senses.
