The word “bunad” refers to traditional folk costumes. In this range designed by Andreas Engesvik, every pillow and blanket references a particular costume color palette. The Bunad Setesdal Pillow features an eye-catching zigzag pattern in black and white, with bold red stripes adding more vibrancy to the design. Made from 100% pure new wool, the fabric is soft and feels naturally warm to the touch. This pillow has a feather filling and it’s suitable fro dry cleaning only. Fram Oslo’s Bunad collection pays homage to Norwegian design traditions by recreating the specific colors of folk costumes from different areas of Norway, but in contemporary patterns. For the solid color range, designer Andreas Engesvik kept the zigzag lines of the range and combined them with one main color. The Bunadblanket Beige is elegant and comfortable at the same time. It features 100% pure new wool yarns, fringes, and a beige with cream color palette. The finely woven material is soft and fine to the touch. This delicate wool blanket should be dry cleaned only. Other brighter and darker colors from the same collection are also available.

A more minimalist version of the Fram Oslo Bunad collection, the Bunadblanket Light Gray features one color instead of the multi-colored palettes that reference Norwegian folk costumes. This blanket features the collection’s signature zigzag pattern in a light gray color. Cream and darker gray fringes complete this Andreas Engesvik design. Woven from pure new wool by a company with a long weaving tradition, this blanket is soft and delicate. It measures 51.1’’ x 78.7’’ or 130 cm x 200 cm. Like the other products from the Bunad series, this blanket is suitable for dry cleaning only.
