The Trilo by Me Portable Atelier represents a seamless fusion of the iconic CENTO3 trilobate shape with practical utility. Crafted from graphene through advanced three-dimensional printing technology by EGO.M, this elegant capsule serves as a portable, compact, and versatile workstation. It’s designed to house various accessories for the multifunctional pencil, including wax crayons, highlighters, ballpoint pen refills, as well as a sharpener and eraser, augmenting its functionality and adaptability. Within the capsule, you’ll find five refills: two wax crayons, two highlighters, one black ballpoint pen, and the CENTO3 art pencil. Originally conceptualized by Castiglioni and Cavaglià in 2001, the CENTO3 was brought to life by EGO.M in 2021 using graphene, renowned as the thinnest and most captivating material, employing the innovative 3D printing production technique.

The CENTO3 project originated from a previously undisclosed collaboration dating back to 2001 between Achille Castiglioni and architect Gianfranco Cavaglià, focusing on writing instruments. The design, characterized by a trilobate shape, proved too intricate for production techniques available at the time and was shelved. Each CENTO3 instrument undergoes 3D printing using an exceptionally durable, sustainable, and lightweight Graphene/PLA filament. The additive manufacturing process imparts a subtle nonslip texture to the surface, rendering each piece a distinctive artifact, as every instrument is individually printed. Additionally, the ergonomic trilobate shape ensures that CENTO3 remains stable and prevents it from rolling off the table.
