In 1968 the students' revolts in Paris, Rome and the United States were overthrowing stiff, old values, and initiating the Flower-Power generation of peace, love and harmony. The colorful, playful FlowerPot pendant hung in restaurants and exhibitions, and very soon, in homes. The FlowerPot, with its two semi-circular spheres facing each other, has long proved its lasting design quality and is just as much a synonym of our time, too.
Verner Panton believed that color could evoke feelings. His FlowerPot Table Lamp captures the spirit of the 1960's with bold spherical molded shapes and bright new colors and materials. Made of spun lacquered aluminum with tubular chrome steel runners, adjustable shades, and matching fabric cords. Available in Yellow, White, Red, Green, Black and Chrome.
