The Quarter Candleholder by Louise Christ consists of slightly curved joints that can be assembled with discreet magnets. It is so flexible that you can use it for any occasion: At a romantic dinner for 2, or on a long party table for 50, scatter the quarter candleholder all over the table, or put them together as a symmetric whole.

Designer Louise Christ graduated from the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Christ works with "distinctive organic shapes, in a universe inspired by everything from single-cell amoeba to corals and planets. This, combined with considerable precision, results in characterful and original products that fall between the precise and the organic." Her working method has, among other things, led to one of the latest additions to Menu's range of original products, the Jewelry Tree, which has just been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2008.
