Product Description
The lipote (Lipotes vexillifer Miller, ,1918), in Chinese baiji, a freshwater dolphin that inhabited the waters of the Yangtze River in China, was declared extint in 2006, but again seen on August 30, 2007. It's the only species of the genus and family Lipotes Lipotidae. The illegal practice of electric fishing and habitat loss, have determined its exponential decrease up to make the species at high risk of extintion if not virtually exint. Size - 7.8" x 3.9" x 2.3"

The LAST toys are designed specifically for children with the intention of bringing awareness to the extinction of animals that have disappeared or are disappearing due to men's wrong behavior. Traditional techniques and craftsmanship were used to tell the life story of three animals that are characterized by fantastic names and form which are also highly representative for the project.
