Bootoms Up Doorbell

Imagine how beautiful would be to toast your guest as they ring your bell? Well now you can with the sound of this unique doorbell by Droog. Designed by Peter Van Der Jagt it consists in two crystal glasses hanging upside down on either side of a miniature hammer triggered by a traditional electromagnet doorbell.

What we know as a doorbell, a square box, does not actually indicate its function. In Bottoms up nothing is hidden. The sound is created and symbolized by the crystal wineglasses. The guests are announced with a musical toast of this doorbell. Winner red dot award 2007.
